Cooperage: Aged for 22 months in French oak, this mix of new and seasoned barrels imparts a balanced profile, blending fresh oak influence with subtle, integrated nuances from the older barrels.
Production Notes: After meticulous hand-harvesting, the grape clusters were de-stemmed and gently crushed. A cold soak of three to four days, tailored to each lot, maximized color and flavor extraction. Fermentation occurred in open-top stainless steel vessels, with regular hand punch-downs and pump-overs to achieve optimal tannin integration. Post-fermentation, the wine was pressed directly into barrels, where malolactic fermentation naturally unfolded. Each lot was aged separately before blending a few months prior to bottling, ensuring a seamless and harmonious final wine.
Tasting Notes: This Rioja-inspired blend entices with lively aromas of blackberry, blueberry, mulberry, and ripe plum, complemented by subtle earthy undertones. On the palate, a vibrant fusion of blackberry, blueberry, black currant, and cherry is beautifully balanced with savory hints of olives and herbs. The result is a complex, yet approachable wine with a rich, lingering finish and a perfect interplay of fruit, spice, and earth.
