Additional Vineyard Information: Desert Wind Vineyard, located in the Wahluke Slope AVA, is an estate winery renowned for its nearly 30-year-old vines, including its prized Malbec. Situated on gently rolling slopes with ideal sun exposure, this vineyard benefits from the unique terroir of the region. The Malbec vines, planted in the early 1990s, produce small, intensely flavored clusters with notably small berries for the varietal. With a natural yield of less than 3 tons per acre, these vines are meticulously hand-tended, ensuring the highest quality fruit that reflects the distinct character of the Wahluke Slope.
Technical Data: Alcohol content, 14.5% by volume. Only 88 cases were produced.
